Revathi (16.40-30.00 Pisces) is ruled by Pushan, the nourishment-providing aspect of the Sun God. The reference of this last and final nakshatra is the journey, from this world into the next.

In plain translation, Revathi refers to one who is wealthy and this is conveyed by the essence of this asterism at multiple levels. Alternatively, Revathi can be translated into ‘the ability to transcend’.

Behavioral Characteristics

English words like ‘reverie’, ‘reverend’, ‘revolving’ and ‘represent’ have been derived from Revathi, the most pleasant of nakshatras.
